Brasstown Bald - Highest Point

Brasstown Bald is the highest point in Georgia and a great place to visit. This photo is the view from the peak looking south and on a clear day you can even see Atlanta. This is especially a serene and special place in the fall. There are beautiful wildflower displays and oak, willow, ash and yellow birch trees. You can hike to the top which boasts a steep trail of 500 feet in a half mile. For the non hikers just take the road to the top, the same one used for the Tour de Georgia bike race.
