The Atlanta Botanical Gardens is a wonderful collection of plants that are used for education, research, cultivation and pure enjoyment. This garden encompasses over 30 acres and is located in the heart of Atlanta. Through the year they sponsor many events, tours, lectures, etc. for all plant lovers. Below are some of the current events happening at the gardens.
- May - September: Every Thursday evening 6:30-10:00pm, Cocktails in the Garden, Dj on site for this event.
- May - October: Sculpture in Motion, 25 kinetic sculptures from 16 different artists on display.
- May 10 - May 11: Rose Show
- May 10- May 11: Gardens for Connoisseurs Tour, sponsored by the Atlanta Botantical Gardens. Tours of private gardens throughout Atlanta.
- May 17 - May 18: Bonsai Show
- Every Tuesday: Tuesday guided tour, 1:30 - 2:30pm
- Concerts in the Garden, 8:00 - 11:00pm: May 30, June 20, July 11, July 18, August 1st
